I had this idea a few weeks ago to start a weekend itinerary for Dripping Springs based on the Enneagram personality profiles!
Tourism is a huge part of the local economy (along with all of those guests for the hundreds of weddings we host here!) and knowing what’s available is so helpful!
I have people from all over contact me online to ask where to go when they visit the area and my first questions are about their personality and what sounds fun to them. Are they introverts or extroverts? Do they love adventure or relaxing? History or experiences?
I try to figure out what to recommend tailored to their personality preferences and then recently decided to make an entire blog thread with ideas so that I can send them out when people ask!
It sounded SO FUN (I’m an enneagram 7w8)!
So here is my third one… recommendations for local places to stay and things to do based on your Enneagram 3 profile!
Day 1: Arrival & Networking
Stay at The Dripping Springs Social Airbnb Property: Check into this killer designed Airbnb property, The Dripping Springs Social, and invite all your friends for a weekend of fun! The social atmosphere, pool and incredible modern, design (and price tag$$$) will wow your guests and give you stories to tell back home.
Dinner at Salt Lick: Head to Driftwood for dinner at The Salt Lick for mouthwatering and famous, Texas BBQ. Try their family style dinner and cobbler! You may even meet a celebrity resident from the next door exclusive community of Driftwood Golf and Ranches where it is rumored that Cindy Crawford and George Clooney have homes. Homes in this neighborhood range from $5-9 million+!
Hudson’s on Mercer: End the night by heading to Hudson’s on Mercer to listen to the local talent perform 6 nights a week on a local, Texas stage!
Day 2: Rise & Shine to Success
Grab a Breakfast Burrito at the CitGo Gas Station: Fuel up with the local secret breakfast taco spot- and post about it on social media- (Thanks for the tip Curtis Mueller!) at the CitGo on HWY 290- D.S. Tacos 512-894-0248. Try the chorizo, cheese, egg and potato or the Migas taco!!
Sunrise Tee Time at the Private Golf Course at Driftwood Gold and Ranches: Join your new friend from Salt Lick for a sunrise tee time at the private, Tom Fazio designed golf course in the ultra-luxurious community of Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club (You must be a land owner in the subdivision to apply for membership with lots beginning at $3M + an initiation fee of $100k!). Show off your skills and network with influential people, aligning with your goal-oriented nature.
Didn’t win over that millionaire at Salt Lick for a tee time? No Worries! Race your friends down the mountain bike trails at Reimer’s Ranch instead and end it with jumping off of the big boulders at the swimming beach. See who can make the biggest splash!
Rent a Day Pass at FUSE Coworking: Spend a few hours at FUSE coworking space to catch up on work for clients back home. This hip coworking space can be a fun environment to close those deals and get a few hours of work in… at least if you work 7 days a week you can do it in STYLE!
Texas Tipsy Tours A Spirited 6-Hour Adventure:
Head out on a 6-hour guided tour with Texas Tipsy Tours, exploring three renowned distilleries in the heart of Texas. Start with a private whiskey and gin experience at Treaty Oak Distillery, followed by a unique Sotol tasting at Desert Door. The adventure continues with a tour and tasting at Dripping Springs Distillery. With tastings and cocktails included, this tour promises an unforgettable journey through Texas’s vibrant spirit scene. All of these places offer dinner and appetizers, so feel free to fill up on hill country goodies!
Day 3: Play & Farewell
Stop by Mazama: Visit Mazama Coffee on Mercer Street for a quick espresso and ham and swiss croissant and hope to bump into JP Sears hanging out on the patio. If you see him, introduce yourself! Maybe even take a selfie!
Play Pickleball at Dreamland: Challenge yourself and your friends to a few hours of pickleball at Dreamland. The competitive and fun atmosphere aligns with your energetic and goal-driven personality.
Lunch at RR12 Wimberley Supper Club: Finish off the trip by running down to Wimberley for a fancy lunch at RR12 Wimberley Supper Club. Try the Tenderloin Steak Sandwich or the Roast Chicken and Brie!

Enneagram 3s have a desire to succeed and be recognized for their accomplishments and are driven, adaptable, and image-conscious. Their motivation is to achieve success, often leading them to become highly competitive and deeply committed to their pursuits.
