Dripping Springs is a beautiful town 23 miles west of Austin in Hays County. With a small town country feel and close proximity to downtown Austin, many people choose to live here to have the best of both worlds. Dripping Springs High School was ranked in the top high schools in the nation in 2015 and the leadership programs in the elementary schools draw families in from all over to move into 78620 area code for access to their programs and schools. The elementary schools implement the Leader In Me program to help teach the children social and emotional skills.

The town is known as the “Gateway to the Hill Country,” referring to the 25-county region known as the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
