Two weeks ago we started seeing major traffic near Founder’s Park. I couldn’t believe how many people were coming to attend the Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival! Last year was the first year for this event at the Pound House Museum and it was so sweet and quiet.

This year the events, food trucks and amount of people doubled!

There are many free games to play and tons of photo opportunities for the whole family. Cute pumpkin patches, swings and picnic areas, hay mazes, corn pits, axe throwing, hoola-hooping, bull bouncy pens and more kept my boys entertained for the hour that we walked around.

On the weekend they had many food trucks to choose from for drinks, snacks, goodies and food. These aren’t available during the week when traffic is slower.

Tickets are $10/each (3 and under free) on the weekends and $5 on the weekdays. October 17th, and 24th are FREE days for the community!

It is open 10-7 everyday except Tuesdays.

The festival is open rain or shine from September 24-October 31 in Dripping Springs.

Want to come and buy some pumpkins for carving or fall decorating? They have a variety of sizes and shapes to choose from. Pumpkins are $1/pound and mini pumpkins are 2 for $5.
