Cousin Louies Italian Restaurant in Belterra Village near Dripping Springs, Texas
We finally got to try Cousin Louie’s tonight! I won a gift card from Texas National Title and South Star Bank and decided to take 4 pre-teens by myself to get chicken parmesan! Other than the kids bouncing on the booth like it was a trampoline, I do think it was a success!
I heard about this restaurant taking over the old burger place about a year ago and was excited that there was another date night spot opening up in the Dripping Springs area. There is a lot of fast food and quick dine in options, but this seems a little more elevated and special than just a quick spin through Chipotle.
Chicken Parmesan is one of my favorite things to eat and I was super bummed when I realized that Trattoria Lisina didn’t have it there, so you know it was the first thing I ordered here! The presentation is wonderful and the food is really good. I ordered the mozzarella sticks for the boys and they talked about how amazing they were and how fun and stringy the cheese was.
It looked like we had a measuring challenge going on at my table of 9-13 year olds as each one pulled their cheese as far as possible. I’m sure it was a sight to see for all of the date night couples at the bar, ha!
This restaurant is open from 11AM-9PM Sunday-Thursday, 11AM-10PM Friday and Saturday and is known for their lasagna, parmesan crusted NY strip, snapper livernese, and pork chops!
