A few weeks ago we had my in-laws in town and the whole family went out to Alice’s Restaurant at Treaty Oak for dinner.
I’ve been coming to Alice’s almost every time we have visited Dripping Springs in the last 5 years. The outdoor, casual dining under the gorgeous sprawling Oak trees just feels like a family picnic at your grandma’s house.
Located off of Fitzhugh Road RR12 on Treaty Oak Distilling’s property it is only a 7 minute drive north of downtown Dripping Springs and makes it an easy dinner place for the whole family and your pups if you want to bring them, too!
Alice’s has indoor and outdoor dining, a large outdoor playground, a converted vintage semi truck for live music on the weekends, and acres and acres of Texas Hill Country to walk around after you’ve enjoyed your meal.
It’s one of my top dining recommendations for people visiting the area!
Alice’s menu has a variety of classic BBQ and some family favorites like mac n cheese, sandwiches and tacos.
My husband is a BBQ lover, but I always like to try something different and LOVED their frito pie!
They serve a variety of alcohol that is all made on the property through Treaty Oak Distilling and Waterloo Gin. Our kids love the Maine Root root-beer on draft! It’s so frothy and delicious!
The atmosphere is super laid back and family friendly! I hope you all get a chance to come out and give Alice’s a try and spend an evening (or Sunday Brunch!) with the family. I recommend coming out closer to sunset in the summer for cooler weather!
Alice’s is open Tuesday-Thursday from 12 PM-8 PM and Friday-Sunday 11 AM-9 PM (brunch served from 11 AM-4 PM) and is located at 16604 Fitzhugh Road in Dripping Springs, Texas.
